Reach plc - the UK's largest commercial news publisher - engaged me as interim editorial director when they acquired the Daily Express and Daily Star stable of titles. I led a team of editors as we quickly and effectively restructured the business and integrated it into the Reach portfolio.

I also help regional news groups to grow their digital audiences through improved publishing practice and have extensive experience of modernising editorial processes to boost operational efficiency.

I have worked extensively in the field of leadership development, from mentoring senior executives to delivering interactive workshops for small groups and one-to-one tutorials for individual journalists.
